Underground Dog Fences in the Methow Valley
Dog Keeps Escaping?
Local installation, training and service by Brad
Trusted by Dog Owners Throughout the Methow Valley
We were very happy with the whole process and outcome of working with Brad at Pet Stop. He installed the invisible fence and worked well with our dog. Our dog now stays in our yard! That gives our dog freedom to be outside safely without being on a leash.

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Brad at Pet Stop! Brad originally installed our hidden fence about 4–5 years ago and did an amazing job training our older dogs. Recently, we added a new puppy to our family, and Brad came back to train our puppy while also helping retrain our older dogs. At one point, we had stopped using the collars because one of our dogs had jumped the electric fence. Brad was more than happy to come back, work with all of our dogs again, and help rebuild their confidence. One of our dogs was especially hesitant about being in the yard, but Brad patiently showed me how to help him feel comfortable and safe again. One of our poodles was a little more challenging to train, but Brad reassured me that everything would work out. He took the time to work with him, answered all of my questions, and never made us feel rushed. His knowledge, patience, and dedication really stood out. Now all three of our dogs are happily trained, safe, and having so much fun in the yard. It has made spending time outside so much more relaxing for our family. What impressed me even more was that about a week after finishing the training, Brad followed up to see how everything was going. He's always available by text if we have questions, and it's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and their pets. I highly recommend Pet Stop and especially Brad for both installation and training. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

Dog Fences Designed for Methow Valley Properties
Many properties in the Methow Valley are different from a typical neighborhood yard. Larger rural lots, acreage, long driveways, irregular property lines and open terrain can all affect how a dog fence should be designed.
We customize the underground boundary around your actual property and how you use it — whether that means keeping your dog away from a road, driveway, garden, outbuildings or other areas of the property. For dogs that are easily distracted by deer, wildlife or the freedom of an open rural property, a consistent boundary can give them more room to enjoy the outdoors while helping keep them safely at home.

Underground Dog Fences for Acreage & Rural Properties
Can an underground dog fence work on a larger Methow Valley property?
Yes. Underground dog fences can be designed for larger yards and acreage as well as smaller residential properties. The layout is customized around the areas where you want your dog to have freedom rather than assuming every property is a standard rectangular yard.
Can the boundary cross a driveway or go around areas I want my dog to avoid?
Yes. The fence layout can be customized around driveways, gardens, outbuildings and other parts of the property. We look at the property with you and determine a boundary that makes sense for your dog, your land and how you use it.
Will an underground dog fence still work through deep snow?
Yes. Snow does not block the radio signal from the buried boundary wire, so the system continues to work even when the ground is covered by deep snow. This makes an underground dog fence a good fit for Methow Valley winters, where snow can remain on the ground for months. As long as the transmitter has power, the boundary wire is intact, and your dog is wearing the receiver collar, the containment boundary remains active throughout the winter.
